Our professional driving instructors have years of racing and coaching experience and are with you every step of the way, offering feedback and encouragement via radio. They’ll always demonstrate the exercise for you, illustrating everything – from proper seating positions to the best way through a corner.

WARMUP, EXTRA M
When your warm-up sessions are in BMW M cars, you know it’ll be a good day. Start off the morning with autocross laps in a BMW M2 or M4 while our instructors show you the proper lines, where to look and how to sit, then head to the Thermal track for a Lead/Follow session in an M4 street car. It’s all part of making sure you’re ready for the big boy.
IT’S YOUR TURN
Zip up a race suit and strap yourself in for a session with the M4 GT4. Our instructors will be with you (and sometimes in front of you), to guide you on how to tame this 500-plus horsepower beast.
PRIVATE M4 GT4 INSTRUCTION
For those looking to have a half-day of M4 GT4 training, we offer Private Instruction with up to 125 miles of track time or a full day up to 250 miles (more can be purchased on site if needed). This is a great experience if you’re looking for something unique, or prepping for your own racing career.

LEARN TO DRIVE FAST, THEN LEARN TO DRIVE REALLY FAST
DRESS FOR SUCCESS
If you want to be a pro racecar driver, it’s best to start by looking the part. Get fitted from the School’s selection for your race suit, race shoes, HANS device, helmet and gloves before stepping into the GT4.
GET A FEEL
To get you up to speed in both a figurative and literal sense, you’ll start out in M2s as you guide them around our track for handling and Timed Autocross events. With over 470 horses on tap, you’ll be well prepared for an afternoon racecar session.
M4 GT4 LEAD/FOLLOW
Just like our other Lead/Follow exercises, except you’re in a racecar. Expect speeds to be even higher as you follow the right line and build up confidence (and boost).
M4 STREETCAR LEAD/FOLLOW
To help you learn the layout of the track, you’ll get behind the wheel of a BMW M4 streetcar and follow the instructor’s car. Build up speed and follow the line to gain confidence for your GT4 session.
DATA AND VIDEO
We’re serious about improvement, so you’ll be provided with lap data after each track session, allowing you to find areas for improvement. You'll leave with a USB stick and video of your experience including telemetry data overlay. The instructors do not review data.

Quite simply a beast. Over 500 horsepower, a full roll cage, RECARO seats, extensive use of carbon fiber and a gigantic rear wing for downforce – let’s just say that this M4 came to play.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
A full-day program includes driving in standard BMW M cars and one driving rotation for 30–45 minutes in an M4 GT4 racecar, including the gear-up time. You’ll start with a classroom session that reviews proper driving technique and get fitted out for your GT4.

Is the M4 GT4 Experience available at other locations?
Currently, the GT4 Experience is available only at our Thermal, California, location.
Will I fit into a BMW M4 GT4?

Can I use a gift card or discount code for this experience?
No. We do not accept discounts; however you can apply your gift card toward this program.
How much time do I get behind the wheel of the M4 GT4?
One session of 30 to 45 minutes, including gear-up time. If you would like more seat time in the M4 GT4, we would recommend private instruction.
How old do you need to be to participate in the M4 GT4 Experience?
You must be at least 18 with a valid driver’s license on the day you arrive.
Do I get to keep the VBOX records?
Yes – you will be provided a USB stick of your data and video.
Am I allowed to record myself while driving?
Feel free to bring your own GoPro as long as it does not block the driver’s view.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations for a full refund must be made within 60 days of your payment date. Cancellations made after the 60 days of payment will receive a credit to use toward another date or event. There will be no rescheduling if the cancellation is made within 14 days of your school or event.
How old do you need to be to participate in BMW M School?
You must be at least 18 with a valid driver’s license.
