With 13 miles of track to conquer, the ‘Ring is not something you can simply learn with one lap. Our comprehensive approach is to break it out into sections and allow you to learn the line through each.
LEAD/FOLLOW
Our instructors know this track inside and out, and you’ll be right behind them in an M car as they lap each section with increased speed (and excitement).
FULL LAPS
It’s not just the memory of each corner, but the stamina to maintain focus on speed and control for a full lap of the “Green Hell.” We’ll set you up and let you string it all together.

Itinerary
Sample schedule subject to change.
Day 1: Arrival, dinner in the evening provided
Day 2: Optional walking tour (approximately 1.5 hours) of the Nürburgring. One-hour theory talk and dinner in the evening.
Day 3 and 4: Drive the ‘Ring with sectional training. Closing ceremony with light reception at the end of day four.
Day 5: Departure
There are no refunds unless we are able to resell the student’s cancelled seat.
There are no discounts allowed for this Driving Experience. You must provide for your own transportation to and from Nϋrburg, Germany, including airfare.

We test our M cars on this track. F1 used to hold races here, and it remains a proving ground for both car and driver. Over 13 miles of undulating pavement, twists, turns and straightaways. There is no other place like it on Earth.

Located in the town of Nürburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, the Nürburgring is surrounded by beautiful countryside, European castles and plenty of local hospitality. Enjoy the views when you’re not behind the wheel.

What is this Driving Experience?
BMW books the track exclusively for this event. No one else is allowed on. There will be one instructor car followed by four cars, two drivers per car. Full lapping of the entire track always takes place behind an instructor car.
Is it called the Nϋrburgring or the Nordschleife? Which course are we on?
The entire complex is the Nϋrburgring in the village of Nürburg. There are two race courses. We are on the Nordschleife, or North Loop, of the Nϋrburgring. This is the original course that is about 13 miles long. The adjacent track is referred to as the Nϋrburgring GP course, which is where F1 currently hosts its race. The Nordschleife is the course that everyone has on their bucket list.
Is this like a track day, and do we get to race?
No. This is a Driving Experience giving you the chance to learn and experience the most famous racetrack in the world.
I have taken M School at the Performance Center in the United States. What are the differences?
Here, there are two drivers per car, the cancellation policy is altered and there is a €2,500 penalty should you damage a car. The crash damage is not something that we (the Performance Center) have imposed, but is set by our German colleagues.
What airport in Germany do I fly into?
The home of BMW is located in Munich (MUC), a five-and-a-half-hour drive to Nϋrburg. Frankfurt (FRA) is about one hour away and Düsseldorf is 1.5 hours away.
Can I apply my BMW Car Club of America discount?
No. This event is organized by our colleagues in Germany and a U.S. discount cannot be applied.
Do I need to bring along a helmet?
Helmets are not required.
Can I bring along a spouse or a friend?
Unfortunately, companions are not allowed during the training or to join on dinners.
